Job Responsibilities
- Performing 12hrs rotating shifts of 7am – 7pm and 7pm – 7am (6 days a week) according to scheduled duty roster.
- Performing access control to ensure authorized visitors, guardians and staff is allowed entry into campus grounds.
- Conduct regular patrolling as scheduled to ensure school is adequately secured and protected at all times and ensure vehicular traffic is managed professionally.
- At all times whilst Security Officer are on duty, the standard equipment (Clocking system for guard patrolling, Walkie Talkie for guards on duty, Torchlights and reflective vests and Body worn camera and accessories where available must be carried to maintain a high level of preparedness.
- The monitoring of surveillance equipment, inspection of building and equipment must be conducted weekly to report any fault for immediate rectification.
- Where the situation arises as a result of potential terrorist threat, spread of contagious diseases and calamity, the S/O is expected to offer recommended directive to minimize disruption to the ground operations.
- The S/O is expected to offer support to the centre’s activities or events as and when needed.
- Updating and ensuring proper records in both Visitor’s and Contractor’s Log (eg. Temperature checks, company’s name, contact information).
- The S/O maybe responsible for keys and access cards, parking system and attendance machine where needed.
- Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers to be dealt with by police.
- Security Officer must be knowledgeable and competent in the operation of all fire and alarm control CCTV panels and recordings to ensure emergencies are well managed and/or false alarms are quickly rectified.
Job Requirements
- A person of high integrity, high alert at work and possess good judgment to certain threats and potential challenges.
- Minimum O Levels with 5 years of security experiences.
- A valid security license issued by the Singapore Police Force.
