The Security Executive is responsible for leading a team of security officers to ensure a safe and secure working environment at company’s sites.
Responsibilities are, and not limited to, as follows:
· Performing daily deployment for every shift for all assignments under your care to ensure there are no shortfalls;
· Conduct security induction for employees at site;
· Manage turnstile set up and operations, CCTV and side gate access control;
· Support the Operations Executive/Operations Manager by reviewing existing security features at site and recommending new security control or features as well conducting security risk analysis and surveys if necessary;
· Brief security officers on the daily patrolling requirements such as looking out for suspicious articles, personnel and illegal activities;
· Ensure the security team records all vehicular / personnel movements into and out of the site and conduct foot patrol at different times during their shift;
· Conduct monthly spot checks on sites and take appropriate action on all wrongful acts / activities such as fighting or concealing offensive weapons;
· Manage and plan security officers’ weekly security team’s roster, including arranging suitable replacement for pre-empt security personnel off days, leave days, etc;
· Liaise with relevant authorities (i.e. SPF, MOM);
· Adherence to safety practices in the workplace;
· Attend weekly or monthly clients’ meeting, if any;
· Submit weekly/monthly reports or clocking reports or as and when requested by client;
· Set up, install and program new clocking route for existing or new assignments, if any;
· Performing requisition of stationery, equipment for site and security personnel;
· To cover any site shortfalls in the event of any shortage (s) arising from any of the assignments;
· Attend to security personnel welfare, grouses and grievances, if any;
To Possess the following
· Display initiative and willingness to assist team members to safeguard the welfare of workers;
· Responsive to operational issues and complaints to ensure that all issues are settled in a timely manner
Qualifications Requirements
· Minimum GCE “N” or “O” levels
· Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
· Possess a Police Licensing & Regulatory Department (PLRD) license with at least a PWM SSS rank
· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Words & Powerpoint)
